I actually saw the TV show then watched all the movies. it made sense watching the TV show first then the movies. but you will hear small references in the TV show that come from the movies but nothing major. its all preference basically I don't think you will become confused either way. sorry if I rambled but just trying to answer your question!

The tv show is set 4 years before Red dragon (movie or book). I watched the movies like years ago and now i'm watching the show.

Well chronologically the Red Dragon film comes after the show at this point, but I'd say you don't need to watch the movies at all? The show stands on its own because otherwise they'd have a problem with the audience that has no prior knowledge, wouldn't they? ;) I mean, the show's just a different adaptation of the source material?
